small packages II

The Lisa Coscino Gallery announces
the opening of it's new exhibition entitled "small packages II".
The exhibition will open on Friday, 14 December and run through January
5th , 2002. The Artist Reception will be held on Friday, December 14th
from 6-8pm. The Gallery is located at 171 Central Avenue in Pacific Grove.
"small packages II"
will carry on the tradition of last years miniature show by featuring
the work of approximately 15 local artists as well as artists from the
Bay area, Los Angeles and beyond. The exhibition will feature painting,
photography, printmaking and mixed media works. While there are no specific
dimensional requirements, the work will all be small format. For this
exhibition, the artists will be exploring the genre of 'still life' and
interpreting its meaning; some literally and others conceptually.
New this year, the gallery
will hold a raffle for 4 or more different artworks the night of the reception.
Raffle tickets are available for sale prior to the event at the gallery
at a cost of $5 each or 5 for $20. The pieces being raffled will also
be able to be seen at the gallery. The raffle will be held during the
reception on the 14th at approximately 7:30 pm. Winners need not be present.
Artist who have committed to the raffle at this date are: Gregg Chadwick
from San Francisco, Dianna Cohen from Los Angeles and local artists Bill
Fenwick and Kevin Flynn.
Gallery Hours are: Tuesday
- Wednesday: 11-3
Thursday - Saturday: 11-5:30
